Fits between your hiring decision and your HR records

DayOneFlow starts where your ATS stops and hands over when probation ends. Today it connects through standard building blocks — sign-in, email, PDF, CSV and links. Direct connectors are planned, not available yet.

Where it fits

Your hiring stack, with the gap filled

Most organizations already have a way to recruit and a place for employee records. The weeks in between — offer, preboarding, the first day and probation — are what DayOneFlow handles.

DayOneFlow

From offer to confirmed employee

HR enters the new hire once — name, personal email, job title, department, location, manager, start date and probation end — and DayOneFlow takes it from there.

Available today

Built-in connections

Standard, dependable building blocks that work with whatever tools you already have.

  • Available now

    Google sign-in for staff

Optional: colleagues can sign in with their Google account instead of a password. Email and password sign-in, with a verified email address, is always available. Candidates never need an account.

  • Available now

    Email over standard SMTP

DayOneFlow sends its email through a standard SMTP provider over an encrypted connection (TLS 1.2 or later), so it isn’t tied to one email vendor. Replies from candidates and new hires go to your organization’s contact email.

  • Available now

    PDF letters

Offer letters and confirmation letters are generated as PDF files from their frozen version, ready to download and file wherever you keep employee documents.

  • Available now

    CSV exports

Download any of the seven reports as CSV: dates in ISO format so they sort correctly, a byte-order mark so Excel reads accents, and spreadsheet formulas neutralised.

  • Available now

    Links in tasks

Any onboarding task can carry a web link — your handbook, an IT request form, a course or a video call — opened from the portal or the task list.

Alongside your systems

How DayOneFlow works with your ATS and HRIS today

There is no direct sync with other HR systems yet. This is how organizations use DayOneFlow next to them.

With your ATS

How it works today
  1. Recruit and decide in your ATS as usual.
  2. HR creates the new hire in DayOneFlow: name, personal email, job title, department, location, manager, start date and probation end.
  3. Prepare and send the offer from DayOneFlow; everything after that happens there.

With your HRIS and payroll

How it works today
  1. Give your HR or payroll contact a task in the onboarding plan, such as “Add to the payroll system”, with a due date before the start.
  2. The details they need come from the new hire’s record, which HR and admins can see — including what the new hire submitted — or from a CSV report such as Upcoming joiners.
  3. When probation is confirmed, the confirmation letter PDF can be filed with the employee’s records.

Planned

On the integration roadmap

These are planned, not available yet. There are no dates: the order depends on what pilot organizations need.

  • Planned — not available yet

    E-signature providers

For organizations that need formal signatures: documents sent through an e-signature provider, with its record kept on the new hire. Until then, offers are accepted and acknowledged in the portal, not signed.

  • Planned — not available yet

    CSV import

Add new hires from a file instead of one at a time — for example, a list exported from your ATS.

  • Planned — not available yet

    Webhooks and an API

Let other systems, such as an ATS or HRIS, react to events like an accepted offer, a changed start date or a probation decision.

  • Planned — not available yet

    Google, Microsoft, Slack and Teams

First integrations with the workplace tools your colleagues already use. The exact scope will follow what pilot organizations need.

  • Planned — not available yet

    Enterprise single sign-on and SCIM

Sign-in through your identity provider and automatic user provisioning, for larger organizations. This is further out than the items above.

Questions

Integration FAQ

Do we have to replace our ATS or HRIS?

No. DayOneFlow covers the stretch between the hiring decision and the probation outcome. Recruiting stays in your ATS, and employee records, pay and leave stay in your HR and payroll systems.

Can DayOneFlow import new hires from our ATS?

Not today. HR creates each new hire in DayOneFlow with one form once the decision is made. CSV import is planned.

Can candidates sign the offer electronically?

Candidates accept the offer in their portal. DayOneFlow records that acceptance and acknowledgement, bound to the exact offer version and its time. It is not an electronic signature. If you need formal e-signatures, integrations with e-signature providers are planned.

Do emails come from our own domain?

Emails are sent from DayOneFlow’s sending address. When you set a contact email for candidates and new hires, it’s used as the reply-to address on their emails and shown in their portal, so replies reach your team.

Is there an API?

Not yet. Outgoing webhooks and an API are planned — see the roadmap.
